RAW and Fued With ECW Superstars[]
There was some worry about letting Nowinski back into wrestling with all the concussions he had but they yielded and let him come back. He was always a prankster as he did multiple pranks on roster members. Chris Nowinski debut match was a hard one as he had to fight against a man he made his concussion institution after, Chris Beniot. In his corner he had Crash and in Beniots was The Rock. The match ended in a time limit draw. Nowinski would have no time to prepare to prepare for his debut match as Bubba Ray Dudley attacked him. Bubba would leave Nowinski down. On the same show Eric Bischoff came out and annouced Nowinski would fight D-Von on Smackdown in a Hardcore Match. Before his match on Smackdown he would get attacked by Tommy Dreamer. This time Nowinski was prepared and got the upper hand. Strangely Bubba would come up during the match and attack D-Von. Nowinski got his first win the match after hitting a devasting hip toss. At Backlash Nowinski would make his debut teaming with Crash taking on Big Show and Booker T in the opening. It would end in a DQ loss for him as he hit a Russian Legsweep on the ref. At Backlash Bischoff would annouce another match with Bubba. Nowinski would call out John Cena but instead be met by Tommy Dreamer. That would lead for a match between them to be made.
New Look And Name[]
After Backlash Nowinski decided to give himself a whole new look and name. He changed his attire and sported a fashionable big top hat, spiked elbow pad and kneepad, boxing glove and lastly a red tie. He changed his name to Christopher Notwinski and got a new entrance with pyro and changed his moveset to reflect on how he's a changed man. Notwinski discovered that he really loved healthy food and decided to carry a watermelon with him to the ring. Notwinski would debut this new look on a May episode of RAW taking on Dreamer and Bubba in a Triple Threat. Before the match even started Notwinski would hit Bubba with his watermelon. The match itself would last 55 secounds with Notwinski winning by count out. On Smackdown Notwinski would team with Crash against Mark Henry and The Hurricane in Notwinski's last match till Judgement Day. Once again Notwinski would win by count out. Judgement Day came and Rhyno would end up as his opponent in the opening match. Before the match even started Notwinski would hit Rhyno with his watermelon. Notwinski got DQ'd in the match for hitting Rhyno with a cactus. At Judgement Day Bischoff would annouce a match between Holly and Notwinski. On the RAW after Judgement Day Notwinski would face Hardcore Holly in a Hardcore match. Bischoff annouced on the RAW that Notwinski would fight Bubba. The hardcore match was brutal and it took two Spiked Shining Wizards to put Hardcore Holly away. Next Smackdown aka last Smackdown before King Of The Ring Notwinski with Crash in his corner took on Bubba with D-Von in his corner. Match only lasted 26 secounds as Notwinski won by count out. At King Of The Ring Notwinski would be entered into a 8 person tournament. The 1st round match would prove to be the hardest. Notwinski would fight D-Von for 22 minutes, giving him his finisher multiple times and taking a beating until a diving missle dropkick picked up the win for him. Notwinski via Half Boston Crab defeated Tommy Dreamer in the finals to be King Of The Ring.
Modification Of Notwinsky[]
After winning King Of The Ring Notwinsky thought it was fitting he would give himself a devasting finisher. Notwinsky added the Notwinsky Wrench Driver to his moveset. Notwinsky along with his tag partner Crash would take on Team 3D(Bubba and D-Von) . Notwinsky hit his new finisher but the win came by count out. After the match when Notwinsky went to rest in his locker room Hardcore Holly attacked him but Notwinsky would get the upper hand, lastly hitting the NWD on the floor. Next match Notwinsky would have was on the Smackdown after against quite arguably toughest challenge yet, Batista in a Hardcore match. On the Smackdown Notwinsky would call out Chris Beniot but Bubba would come out and challenge him to a match at Vengeance. The match would end by time limit draw. At Vengeance before his match Notwinsky would call out Brock Lesnar but D-Von would come out and challenge him to a match on RAW. His match against Bubba would be brutal and it took 4 NWD to put Bubba down for the 3 count. After his match he would attack Scott Steiner backstage but Steiner would get upper hand. The next RAW would feature D-Von vs Notwinsky but Notwinsky would get himself DQ'd after accidently hitting a Diving Missle Dropkick on the ref. Smackdown would give Notwinsky a chance to prove himself by giving him a tag match against the World Champ Lesnar and Undertaker. Notwinsky would make a questionable statement after pinning Lesnar after Bubba came in and hit the Bubba bomb on Lesnar. On the same show Notwinsky would once again attack Steiner but once again get beat down. At Summerslam Notwinsky had a big match against Shawn Michaels. Before the match he would call out Nidia but Steiner would come out and challenge him to a match. Bubba would attack Notwinsky backstage before his match and the brawl would be so intense security would have to break it up. Notwinsky's match with Shawn Michaels ended in a time limit draw. On the next RAW Notwinsky got his match with Steiner. Before the match Notwinsky called out Torrie Wilson and got a match with her. Notwinsky lost to Steiner by submission via Steiner Recliner.

When You Can't Beat Em[]
After losing to Steiner Notwinsky decided he needed a submission hold to compete and he got the Octopus Hold and turned it into The Noctopus. He also instead of carrying a watermelon got a much lighter banana. On Smackdown he would fight Torrie Wilson. Notwinsky won by count out. Next was Unforgiven and in the opener him and Crash would take on Goldberg and Undertaker. Before match Notwinsky hit Goldberg with the banana. Notwinsky would get the biggest win by making Goldberg tap out to the Noctopus.
Face Turn[]
On the RAW after Unforgiven Bischoff came out and wanted to settle backstage problems with Notwinski. Notwinski would then attack Bischoff and pose to fans. Later on in the night he would take on half of the tag team champions Chuck Palumbo and won via submission. After his match he'd call out Jacqueline but Scott Steiner would come out and challenge him to a match. After the RAW Notwinsky would change his entrance to fit his new change in mind. On Smackdown Notwinsky took on Scott Steiner who had Chris Jericho in his corner while Notwinsky had Crash. Notwinsky would get the win via submission. After this Notwinsky took a three year break from nl.
Back From Break[]
Notwinsky would make his return after a long absence. He took his time and rested, preparing himself for his next action which would be to call out Steiner. Tommy Dreamer would come out and interrupt it. Dreamer would challenge Notwinsky to a match on Smackdown. Bischoff came out later on and annouced Notwinsky would fight Bubba on Smackdown as well, making it a three way match. His first match back would be against his long time enemie/friend D-Von. The match would last a little over a minute as both were counted out. On Smackdown the 3 way would end in a draw via count out. This would be the last show before Survivor Series. At the event Big Show,Mark Henry and Crash would try to get Notwinsky to buy their merchandise. Notwinsky would get to fight Hurricane at the event. Notwinsky got Hurricane to tap with a ankle lock. Later on Bubba would attack Notwinsky backstage. Notwinsky would get the upper hand on him. On the RAW opening match Notwinsky took on Shawn Michaels. Notwinsky won by Count Out. Bischoff annouced a match between Notwinsky and Flair on Smackdown. Smackdown came and the match would be made into a Hardcore tag match between Flair and Big Show with Crash as Notwinsky's partner. Before the match Notwinsky would attack Flair with a Banana. It ended in a time limit draw. Armageddon came up and Notwinsky would be put in a match against Kevin Nash. After hitting the NWD Notwinsky got the pinfall victory. At Armageddon Bischoff annouced Bubba vs Notwinsky on RAW.
