- #1 Stone Cold decided to stop wrestling (except for counters) after eliminating Christy Hemme, yet still managed to avoid elimination all the way to the end of the match.
- Halfway through the match turned into JBL and Snitsky ganging up on everybody not wearing black trunks like them, hence Austin being spared elimination.
- Duel entered as Rene Dupree in a desperate attempt to eliminate Austin, but was eliminated by Eugene, ending the match prematurely, as in DOR2 the player must make it to the final two for the Rumble to finish properly.
- The match was then restarted as a 2K18 online match between Johnny (Eugene), Htial (Heidenreich), and Sprite (Austin), with Heidenreich emerging victorious after Austin casually stepped off the apron.
